Cancellations & Refunds Policy

Because Strakon Digitalâ„¢ provides non-tangible, irrevocable digital goods and highly customized web architecture services, our billing and refund policies are structured to protect the time and intellectual property invested by our engineering teams.

1. Payment Structure (40/60 Split)

We pride ourselves on transparency. All web development projects adhere to a strict two-part billing framework:

  • 40% Initial Retainer: To commence any work, including wireframing, architecture planning, and allocating development resources, a 40% upfront deposit is required.
  • 60% Final Payment: The remaining 60% balance is invoiced once the project has been fully developed, has passed client quality assurance matching the initial scope, and is placed in staging. This payment must be cleared prior to final live deployment or code transfer.

2. Non-Refundable Initial Retainer

We do not issue refunds for the initial 40% deposit under any circumstances after the project has officially kicked off. This non-refundable retainer reserves our agency's time and compensates us for the immediate strategy, research, and design mockups produced at the earliest stages of the build.

3. Mid-Project Cancellations

If the client chooses to cancel or abort the project while it is in active development (after the 40% deposit but before the final 60% invoice is paid), the client will not receive a refund of the initial deposit. If the amount of billable hours already executed by Strakon Digital exceeds the 40% deposit, the client will be invoiced for the difference corresponding to the work completed up to the date of cancellation.

Upon cancellation and subsequent clearing of any outstanding invoices for completed work, all assets designed up to that point will be handed over to the client.

4. Post-Deployment Refunds

Once a project has been approved, paid in full (the final 60%), and deployed to a live environment, the project is considered complete and successfully delivered. No refunds will be granted after the live deployment of digital services.
